Four days at Jordan High with some of the best dunkers on the planet. Here is how it went.
I just got back from Dunk Camp 2026 in Salt Lake City, four days around some of the best dunkers on the planet. I walked in nervous. I walked out with two between the legs dunks in a contest and a lot more belief in myself.
In the contest I hit two between the legs dunks in a row off the dribble. I’ll be honest, walking up to it I was a little worried I wasn’t going to get up there. The rim is 10 feet and the nerves are real. Then I did it, twice, back to back.
Your brain confuses adrenaline with nervousness. They feel almost identical. The lesson that stuck with me is simple: it’s okay to feel it. The adrenaline isn’t a sign you’re not ready. It’s a sign you’re about to do something that matters. Feel it, and know you’re ready.
The talent at this camp was unreal. I got to train around and learn from pros like Jordan Kilganon, Isaiah Rivera, Jordan Sutherland, and Darius Clark. The judges included CJ Champion and Jonathan Clark. And Miles McDeezy (Miles McDonald), the ball spinner, was the one filming my dunks for me. Being in a room full of people who live this is half the reason you level up.
I also got to meet Dennis Yu at camp this year, which meant a lot given everything he’s taught me about building a brand the right way.
Here’s the thing. I’m 5 foot 11. I’m athletic, but I’m not some freak athlete. And I just threw down two between the legs dunks in a contest. If I can do that, your first dunk is within reach for a lot more people than think it is. That’s the whole point of Anyone Can Dunk.
